After we were registered and our cars were "teched" everyone is required to attend the introduction for rules, regulations and such.  The "intermediate" group is then allowed to head to the track for their first event, while the "novice" class remains behind for some classroom time.

After a short class, you are released to get final preps done on your car and to get to the staging area.

Without the "intermediate" group, the parking lot was much thinner - with a roadster, you must have a roll-bar to run intermediate

Looking from staging, you can see the Panoz Training cars lined up along with a few of the "intermediate" Vettes on the sideline
