Wednesday, September 29, 2004

Red & Barb, Bob & Cindy, Paul & Viola, Don & Karyn and Doug & Glenda, met at 9 am at the Owen's off Hwy 26 & 820 for breakfast. 

After breakfast, we headed over to pay Scott a visit at the hospital before heading out.  Cindy & Viola had made up a couple of care packages and we took the cards that were signed by all at our event the weekend before.

We then headed out from Ft Worth, taking a long route via Hot Springs, AR.  Several other CTV groups headed out Thursday going straight to Eureka Springs.

The drive today was approximately 320+ miles and took a little over 5 hours.

    
The countryside is very pretty and the roads are fun once you get into AR
    
    
We typically park back by the Tennis Courts - helps dry the dew off them the next morning as well.

Bob & Cindy's - gee, doesn't it look like they "WAXED" it?

    

We stayed at "The Clarion on The Lake" on Wednesday night in Hot Springs, AR - it was a great night to sit out by the lake (on the dock) with a cold one
