| | we usually start with a good breakfast - here is most of the gang getting gassed up for a day of fun | | | | | | | | The "EconoRun" was a blast, at least until a semi runs up on you and wants to pass but there isn't anywhere for him to pass and no where for you to pull over. ...but there was 122 Miles of Great Scenery, even in the drizzling rain!!! | | | | | | | | | | | | | Doug & Glenda | | | | | | | | Bob & Cindy | | | | | | | | Red & Don ??? ... yep, Red was the driver and Don navigated | | | | | | | | The rain was just enough to mess with clean Vettes, but then again, it does this every year L | | | | | | | Karyn booked reservations for Friday's supper at the Autumn Breeze Restaurant - a fine dining steak and seafood house. ... Cuisine type: American, Coffee & Tea, Eclectic, Fine Dining, French, Greek/Middle Eastern, Ice Cream, Italian, Steaks | | | The "Moonlight Cruise" was the last event for the day Basically it is a Corvette parade through the beautiful and brightly lighted "historic district" and downtown Eureka Springs - it departed from Pine Mountain at 11pm. | | | | | | Here is a '54 leading the pack, coming down in front of our hotel. We opted to sit and watch again this year. | | unfortunately, it was a very slow evening with no action at all, other than the parade - the threat of the $400 ticket for burnouts during the moonlight cruise probably made most think twice about it. A local crazy in a mustang that was doing dumb & dangerous burnouts across lanes of traffic and into Rapid Roberts gas station. | | | | | |
