Lone Star Park - Gasoline Alley - MDA Show - 09/06/2004

I won a Class Award, but I was more surprised and am more proud of getting the Best Corvette Award! I guess since the Pace car got Best of Show, they felt next best was Best Corvette - but I'm sure proud of it!

There were about 82 cars, trucks and motorcycles at the show and we raised $3,000 + for MDA which was matched by the telethon going on inside Lone Star so all totaled we raised over $6,000!!! Once the rain stopped we cleaned our cars, set up and had a great time!!

Xtreme Corvettes Car Show - 09/04/2004

The Chevy commercial may say that the last of the '04s are here.....but guess what was at the show tonight? The first of the '05s - C6's that is!! Two black coupes as a matter of fact. One was 9 days old the other fresh off the lot! Pretty neat! There was also a new GTO there. Lots of Xtreme race-prepared Corvettes, too. Really sharp cars, really nice folks and great weather! Cornhusker Summer Festival events in Omaha, NE - 09/04/2004

Doc's '62 placed first in his class in the Peoples Choice, he rec'd special recognition in the Funkhana (not sure what that means), and was the "preliminary" winner in the Rallye - pending the official tally (a repeat from last year but w/o Debbi this time)

Badger States Vette Car Show at Heiser Chevrolet, Milwaukee, WI - 08/29/2004

Doc's '62 placed second in his class in both events (Judged Concours & P Choice).  The winner was a '56 that had just completed a complete restoration a few weeks ago - very nice.
