 | We cruised into downtown Glen Rose, to the Somerville County Courthouse. You will find some very interesting architecture and history as you visit Courthouses on your cruise. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | As we pushed South down to Meridian, there were lots of wildflowers on teh side of the twisty and hilly road - great fun in a Vette | | | | | | | We stopped for a picnic lunch at Lake Whitney State Park to capture one of the 2 points for visiting a State Park. The group stopped for this photo as we departed after lunch. | | | | | | | | | Down the road a little further, we came into Blum, TX, somewhere most of us had never bed - we found a Post Office to capture the "B" town photo point. | | | | | | | | | We varied off course to capture an "I" town photo for a point. Sometimes on the cruises, wrong turns happen, adjustments to the route are deemed better to see and capture un-planned stops. | | | | | | | | We ended up in Hillsboro, at the Courthouse, capturing that photo for our "H" city point | | | | | | | | | | | While standing and visiting at that stop, someone mentioned the sign on "Texas Oldest Pharmacy"... one of the neat things about cruising and looking along the way - you just never know what you might see. | | | | | |
