The Rallye

This year's rallye was a Gimmick Ralley - first car out at 8am spaced about 1 minute apart.  They told us to bring a camera, our jacket and car number - not to also forget a full tank of gas and to plan on 3 hours for the driving part

Looking off the balcony Friday morning, you could see the Rallye staging area filling up

The rallye started from the Beaver Run Resort parking lot

While we awaited the rest of our group and our turn to start the rallye, we visited some of the vendor exhibits

There were several neat cars to look at while we waited as well

Red & Barb, Bob & Cindy and Doug & Glenda - all here and ready to Rallye!!!

Carl & Audrie weren't registered but tagged along for fun - Karl also took the picture

The first stop was at "Clinton's Gulch" where a bonus point was to tell how many cubic feet were in it - however this sign was in acre feet -   some borrowed reading glasses which didn't even help with that conversion - however, but using a life-line to Kevin Anthony did

Vettes started to leave that stop, heading on up the rallye route - you had to pay special attention to the instructions that said only stop at "check points" - they had a few "check stop signs" which threw some

twisting and winding thru the mountains - it was a neat road ...I wonder if that "wing" helped?

the next stop was for the "gimmicks"

this '62 was cruisin' around everywhere - a great site to see

One gimmick was to pick a bag of scrabble blocks and make the word within a time limit

The next gimmick was to toss 3 bean bags into rings at different distances for points
