Dick Coup's 1963 Grand Sport Chaparral - TOTALLY AWESOME. I met Dick at the downtown Ft Worth street car show last year, while admiring his yellow BMW x. While visiting with him, he noticed the CTV jacket I was wearing and we started talking Vettes. He told me the history of his 8+ year GS project that would make it's debut at the Dallas Autorama this year - well folks, this is it.


The three photo albums at the corners of the display were amazing to go thru - to see the miticulous efforts that were taken to build this car with over 400 hand-laid parts alone. The documentation on things like making the molds for the fender louvers, laying up the glass then how they were bonded into slots cut into the fenders - no, these were not purchased with all those louvers K

	...and you should have known that Lightning McQueen of "CARS" would be there - a huge hit with all the kids, for sure!!!
