The staging lanes were filled and ready

  
       

about 7 of us made a pass down the track before the rain started

while it wasn't a down pour, however it was definitely heavy enough to stop the drags
       
While the rain came down, the sheltered bleachers were refuge for many, while others were at their rigs, umbrellas and other shelters
