Our Cowtown workers at the 2011 NASCAR

The Samsung Mobile 500 Weekend featured both the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series at Texas Motor Speedway.  The festivities began on Thursday, April 7 with Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series stars on the track for practice. Friday, April 8 was The Dallas Morning News Qualifying Day for both Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series. Friday night was the O'Reilly Auto Parts 300, NASCAR Nationwide Series race.   The weekend finished on Saturday night with the No-Limits Garage Party and the Inaugural nighttime Samsung Mobile 500.

in addition to gate access duty, some provided security to the stage where the bands performed, others guarded the Dale Earnhardt memorabilia display and a couple floated around and provide breaks for others.

The Garage Party was over and the vendor's were pulling out
       
This is a whole new meaning to "a line at the gas pumps"
       
The stands were full; over 160k fans

I didn't have a good camera with me today so these were taken w/smartphones - the streaks on the track are the NASCARs
