The Trip / Mid-America - Saturday, June 18th

All of the Cowtown attendees traveled at different times so there was no Caravan of the 3 Vehicles that drove - we headed out Friday morning, making it just south of Effingham, IL; up early on Saturday to hit the road.
It rained on us heading up to IL but it several of us did stop at Mid-America Motorworks.  Mike has a great collection on display
       
  he even has one of the NCCC pieces from a past Convention - not to mention rare & Vettes that were in movies  
       
       
Arrival @ Convention
we arrived around 3pm from the ? mile drive
We arrived at our home for the next week, the Holiday Inn Express (& Others) in Tinley Park, IL
       
Looking out our hotel room a the hotel & convention center parking lot
       
Vette Tech was going on under the Bridgestone Tractor Trailer area
 
       
we walked next door to the Conv. Center where Convention was being held; couldn't mistake being the right place
Inside we found the Hospitality area - complete with a "BEER TRAILER" with 10 taps
   
Inside we found the "Corvette Mall" and some great merchandise by the NCCC Sponsors and other vendors.
       
Walking back to the hotel we saw this Mongoose Grand Sport Replica - NICE! General Motors had the Corvette Traveling Display for all to enjoy
