Setup was on Friday evening

The event was held on the old Army Helipad at the Mineral Wells Airport
    
 Rick Watson was Saturday's Event Coordinator with Doug McMahan Co-Chairing 
    

5PM on Friday, the setup started, Don Littlefield delivered our club trailer, some CCT members showed up as well.  A joint club team setup the course and spent hours cleaning the old rubber and such from the course line - we quit at dark-thirty

 

 

 

 

 

 

James West brought the rented camper to use for a Timing Facility

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Course was designed by Doug McMahan; it was setup on Friday evening starting 6ish. 

 Once setup, Rick Watson and others used a 380MPH commercial blower to clean "the line" and beyond in addition to chalking all the cones.

 

    

Saturday's Event

 Carlanne Hickman chaired Registration, with assistance from Carol Savage  
    
  David Gill headed up Tech Inspection with help from Doc Lambert, Jack Gandy & Doug McMahan 
    
 hard to miss where the heliport is ...just look for the checkered water tower  
    
 Doug McMahan provided Parade Laps to all participants.  The course was setup with one 4-cone chicane, a 4-gate obstacle and 5 sweepers; .84 miles in length

 
    
 The Vettes were taking their assigned lanes in the staging area; with Bob & Cindy Morrison as chairperson

 ...and the day of competition is underway
 
 Stock to full Race Prepared Corvettes were in attendance 
   
We have always stated that working the corners is the best seat in the house
