Time for the 40th Celebration Program to Start
 Fred Rosett was tonight's Master of Ceremonies starting off with a welcome of Members & Guests  
    
 Chip & Mary Jones were in attendance, representing Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet, our Platinum Sponsor  
    
  David Gill (Club President) had a few words to say
 
    
All attendees were asked to stand, then Members were asked to be seated as the number of years as a Cowtown Member increased; starting with >1 year, then >5 years, >15 years, >20 years, >25 years, etc...
 numerous members in the >20 year category  
 ...this continued until the last two standing were members for longer than 40th years  
    
At that time, the past club presidents (in attendance) were asked to join David on the stage
   
Larry Hoaldridge was invited on stage to share their history of Corvettes as members of Cowtown.

A special presentation was then made to Larry & Sylvia Hoaldridge 
    
 Larry Hoaldridge was presented with a special chair for being Cowtown's only remaining "continuous" Charter Member  
    
 Jerry Lindsey was also recognized as one of the founding members 
Sylvia shared some comments around what Cowtown Vettes & NCCC mean to her
    
Jo Anne Smith (40th Anniversary Chairperson) recognized the 40th Anniversary Committee Members. 
She was then presented with a bouquet of flowers as a Thank You for chairing the committee
  
    

Time for the remaining Games / Activites

planned the games and activities
 Pin the Wheels on the Corvette (wearing special glasses)  
    
Ring Toss - most rings on the Cone Heads 
  
    
Hot Air Corvette Races - blowing a matchbox Corvette down the head-to-head competition track, using a straw
    
Back to the Remote Control Corvette Races

The Games were complete and it was time for more Door Prizes

...then the awards for the winners of the games
  
   

  Members were invited to stay and enjoy the live entertainment room at Red's where "Me and My Monkey" a Beatle's Tribute Band was playing this evening.
