ASSEMBLE THE CRUISERS
The Driver's Meeting and departure was at the Cracker Barrel on Winscott Rd & I-20 in Benbrook

Participants congregated under the covered patio and out by the Vettes

we moved to the end of the building for the Driver's Meeting

William and Mary hosted the Driver's Meeting

The participants were split into 3 cruise groups due to size

Line 'em Up - we staged at the exit from CB

William Nolan & Mary Pittman led Group 1
Raley & Jo Anne Smith led Group 2
Doug & Glenda McMahan led Group 3

THE CRUISE
The groups headed out, staggered 5 minutes apart, driving thru Benbrook and down Hwy 377 to Granbury where we started the back-roads cruising fun
one group picked up a couple of our members that lived down in the Granbury direction

Groups 1 & 3 had a pit stop in Bluff Dale

Group 2 (shown here) had a pit stop in Lipan

Due to a fatality motorcycle accident on Hwy 67, we had to alter our route to Loco Coyote and come in on the north end of 1004; instead of from the south

LUNCH TIME
we have arrived at Loco Coyote Grill; located just outside of Glen Rose

We took up a considerable amount of parking around back

the sign says it all - but Jo Anne had us setup with a buffet

We had the end patio section all to ourselves and the menu options was posted

The Loco Coyote group was very accommodating and they had obviously done large groups before

Additional Pictures
(39 more)

The Combat Vets Association had a large group out there today as well - lots of bikes

Lieutenant Colonel Allen West was even there today and took photos with some from our group
someone in our group was fascinated by the urinals in the men's room

FUN AFTER LUNCH
it was definitely a warm day here in Texas

Mary had prepared several cruiser and other activities for folks to do on their own or in smaller groupsamong those was a pie shop, wineries, courthouses, etc.

a few of the folks went over to Barking Rocks Vineyard & Winery

THE END
