As we arrived at the Cracker Barrel on I-20 & Winscott road in south Ft Worth, the rains started moving in.
Driver's Meeting was held at 8:30 AM and we headed out at 8:45

...it was a drizzly raining AM, sometimes very heavy at times... we headed east out of Cresson and took back roads to by-pass Granbury - we picked up Hwy 67 on into Glen Rose

well... we kept on cruisin' after a short pit stop in Glen Rose and the rain was starting to let up

We cruised thru Hamilton, across 2005 to Goldthwaite, then on into San Saba

a stop at the San Saba Courthouse to grab a few cruiser points while checking out some history and war memorials; while stretching our legs.
Departing here, we drove past the oldest working Jail in the US - the San Saba County Jail

we cruised on down Hwy 16 to Llano, TX...

...where we stopped for lunch at Cooper's Old Time Pit BBQ
...and you smell the BBQ before you even open your car door
...you pick your meats, they throw them on a tray and you head inside where they cut the meat, and you grab your sides and drinks
