Fall Scramble - October 17 with CTV Car show (7 sanctions) At TBD
Autocross is a, low-speed, high-intensity motorsport where drivers navigate a temporary course marked by cones, usually in large, paved lots. It emphasizes precision, handling, and driver skill over top speed, with cars running individually against the clock. Events are accessible to beginners, requiring minimal car preparation, with winners determined by the lowest time.
Come and have fun running your corvette around corners like it was designed to do and run as fast as you would like.
We group a car show, funkhanas and rallies into a day of fun.
Car Show - Participants of the car show vote on there favorite.
Funkhana - is a low-speed, light-hearted, and often themed, car club competition that tests driver and passenger dexterity, teamwork, and humor rather than raw speed. Unlike a standard rally, it involves, for example, navigating cones while performing tasks like tossing items, collecting objects, or solving puzzles, making it a "gimmick" or "stunt" autocross. with 2 person team Driver and navigator
Rallies - Drive your corvette with a 2 person team to get points with different task. Like Poker Run
Valve Cover Races **NEW** - Build or use a club valve cover race car. (see the current Scramble flyer for rules and specs for the Valve cover car) Drag racing light start to a pine would derby type track first across the finish line.
Both Autocrosses and Scrambles you earn points to compete in the Club, Region and National (NCCC)

Cowtown Vettes members demonstrate their generosity to the community each year in various ways:
Through our 50/50 raffles, held at our monthly membership meetings and other events, we raise money to donate to local charities each year. Our membership votes on two charities to contribute to each year, with a focus on the Fort Worth and Tarrant County Area.
We also donate our time twice a year to both the Tarrant Area Food Bank and Cook Children’s Hospital.
At Christmas time, our members come together to collect toys for the Toys for Tots campaign.
In addition, we conduct a pet food drive at one of our membership meetings each year, collecting food and donations for pet owners in need.
Cowtown Members also donate needed items, their time and additional monetary donations above and beyond the formal CTV Charity program.

RULES/GUIDELINES:
You do not have to participate in the Cruiser Program (CCP) to enter the contest - this contest is about showing our Members the neat places you have been in your Corvette. This is an individual award competition - after all, only one person can actually snap the photo.
The photo(s) must have you or your Vette in it this year; it does not have to have both.
Must be photo(s) you have taken while cruisin' / participating with your Vette …the photo(s) can be of anything you found interesting along the way – no theme other than non-vulgar …and yes, for this contest, we will even count photos taken if you trailered your Vette, as long as they meet the criteria above.
Winner will be selected by MOST POPULAR Member Vote (by photo number on voting slip) at the November Membership Meeting.
You are limited to three (3-5?) entries per CTV member. Take lots of pictures all year and select your best ones for entry in November - BE CREATIVE!!!
Your Photo(s) MUST BE provided to the Cruiser Chairperson (or designee) PRIOR to the start of the November Membership Meeting so they can be added to the Contest Board - which will be displayed for voting. The Photos must be either 3"x5" or 4"x6" or 5"x7" in size; for the voting.
The Contest Voting slips will be passed out, one slip per person and they will be counted by at least two CTV members which do not have a photo in the contest.
The Contest Winner and AWARD will be presented at the Annual Christmas Party / Awards Ceremony.
